[Grapefruit & Ginger juice]

If you have a refreshing spring attitude you need to try making Grapefruit and Ginger juice! Grapefruit will add Vitamin C to boost your mood and the Ginger will cool the body and calm the nerves. [Plus] By making it yourself, you can avoid the added syrups and junk in store bought varieties.

Grapefruit & Ginger Juice

2 Tablespoons honey

2 Tablespoons ginger, peeled and thinly sliced

1 cup water

1 juicy ruby grapefruit, juiced

½ lemon, juiced

  1. Combine the honey, ginger, and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a soft boil and then simmer on low for 5 minutes. Then let sit off of heat for another 10 minutes.
  2. Combine the grapefruit and lemon juice in another bowl or pitcher. Add the honey, ginger and water mixture to the juice by pouring through a strainer. Discard ginger. Chill and enjoy!
